UCLA Basketball Game
First time to watch U.S. National Basketball Champion Game on site, although it was not a N.B.A. game. Really enjoy the onsite feeling and just want to get the taste of be so close to the players! Hope maybe will soon have the chance and time to watch a real N.B.A. game at L.A. That would be awesome. ( yeap…people here love to use awesome so often, I should also learn to use awesome, yea!)
Newport Seafood House
Sunny Day and Delicious food! So happy I don’t need to stay at home and could come to meet friends. Well, maybe I should try to make this a regular event and invite different friend to enjoy food together.
Mulholland!
Finally have the time and chance to drive along the Mulholland Drive! I almost spent three hours driving alone, along Mulholland Drive and also the road nearby, and walked to one of the top Mountains. The Mulholland Drive is a little strange, there was not too much cars along the road, sometimes when I looked at the rearview mirror, I even couldn’t see one single car following me for several minutes. When it became dark, wind blew so strong that I even gave up opening my window to feel the wind and quite. I though, for several minutes, I even felt afraid when I drove along! I would never try to drive alone at night!!! Next time, maybe find someone to come with me!
It was also good to be alone for a while. When I sat on the stone at the mountain, watching at the amazing place I am currently living, I felt the magic of life, though I was also captured by a sense of lonely, I have to admit. For thousands of reasons, I could have been anywhere else in China, maybe even in a little small city, just not here. But life led me here, and I believe he want me to be here. I am here for some reasons, the reasons that differed from Why MBA, Why School, and Why Now when I applied for MBA schools.
I felt a little lonely, maybe just because I still haven’t figure out the true reason I am here. It’s not easy for me, and maybe lots of foreign students, to be here in U.S. to pursue an MBA degree. I didn’t want to waste my chance, maybe one of the most important moment in my life. Sometimes I still felt a little hard to immerse into the new environment. I am kind and warm to everybody here and most of the people here are nice to me. While I still felt a little communication gap between me and my foreign classmates, maybe because my English langue or maybe because some culture difference.
I hope someday when I look back my life and would be happy to say: Silly Monster, you will eventually make it, as you always did in the past.
